Hey everyone!

So we just officially pencilled in our date and our locations! We are getting married on Wednesday July 11th, 2012 at 2:30pm. The ceremony will take place at Sea Breeze Point and the reception will take place at the Living Seas Salon in Epcot. The night before, we will be having a welcome dinner at Animal Kingdom…..I am super excited for that part!! Everyone who goes will get to go on the last safari of the day and while we eat, there will be a bongo drum band and a face painter for the kids!

Hey everyone! It’s March Break and we were supposed to be heading out to Orlando today…but alas…if you are familiar with my luck with planning trips…you know that this one is cancelled as well lol. (For those of you who don’t know….Nick and I have planned a total of 5 trips since we started dating and we have been on zero!) Anyways, because of that, I managed to convince Nick to let me get a new kitten to keep Lupin company. He said yes so we are going to pick her out on Saturday and we officially get her on April 13th! I am beyond excited and can’t wait to meet her. She doesn’t have a name yet but here is a picture of her if you have any suggestions.

Hello everyone!

We have some bad/good news. We have decided to postpone our wedding to July 2012. We made this decision due to the fact that we were both pinching pennies to pay for the wedding and we weren’t seeing wedding planning as fun…more like a burden. We wanted to make sure that we could afford everything we wanted and that our guests would be able to save and join us for our special day. Also, since Nancy is a teacher…she can’t really take a couple weeks off in the middle of the school year and Christmas break is out of the question…so July it is! So in a way it is bad news because we have to wait even longer to get married, but it’s good news too because our wedding is going to be that much more awesome! Hopefully everyone can understand the situation that we are in and can support us in our decision. We will be sending out this same message in our Christmas cards. We will be keeping everybody posted on the plans.

On a des mauvaises/bonnes nouvelles. On a décidé de changer la date de nos noces à Juillet 2012. On a fait cette décision à cause du fait qu’on avait pas assez d’argent pour payer pour les noces et la planification est devenu un fardeau. On voulait s’assurer qu’on pouvait avoir les moyens pour tout ce qu’on voulait et que nos invités puissent avoir les moyens de nous joindre. Alors, oui c’est des mauvaises nouvelles puisqu’on doit attendre un autre an pour se marier, mais c’est aussi des bonnes nouvelles parce que nos noces vont être beaucoup plus fantastiques qu’avant. Nous espérons  que vous pouvez tous comprendre notre dilemme et qu’on a votre appuis. On va vous envoyer la même note dans nos cartes de Noël.

We just wanted to wish everyone a very happy thanksgiving. We hope everyone is able to get together with the people they love and take the time to be thankful for everything that is good in their lives. We certainly are.

I’ve heard that many of you have started receiving our Save-the-dates from Disney. Were they informative? How did they look? We didn’t get any for ourselves unfortunately. If you havn’t received one within the next week or so let us know and we will look into it.

Our Home! Notre Maison!

Hey everyone!!! Allô tout le monde!!!

We just wanted to let you know that the wedding planning is going well. Our planner from Disney gave us a call a few weeks ago so things are officially underway. The only thing that sucks is that we can’t really make any Disney-centered decisions until our planning session in March. Oh Well! We also got our annual passes to Disney in the mail the other day so we are very excited for those! Nick has never been to Disney World so hopefully when we go down in March to meet with our planner and get our engagement photos done (which we got for free!!! Love our photographer!) we can go visit the parks.

On voulait vous laisser savoir que la planification des noces va très bien. Notre coordinatrice de Disney nous a appelée alors les plans sont officiellement en cours! La seule chose qui met un délai sur nos plans est que nous ne pouvons pas faire des décisions qui ont a faire avec Disney avant mars. Eh bien! On a reçu nos passes annuelles pour les parcs Disney l’autre jour alors nous sommes très excités! Nick n’a jamais été à Disney alors on espère aller aux parcs quand on descend en mars pour une réunion avec notre coordinatrice et pour prendre nos photos de fiançailles.

So for now, we are just planning the little things….the invitations, the favours, centrepieces, and anything else that we will be doing ourselves. Also we’ve been keeping busy with house updates!! (We will post pictures of the house on the site very soon!) Once we get more information on travel plans we will let you know ASAP! So be patient with us If you know you’re not coming or if you are for sure….remember to let us know! Also if we don’t have your mailing address (Uncle Paul & Aunt Kari…we mean you lol) just shoot either of us an email and we will update our guest list. We will be posting more updates in the near future. As for now…check out the dates to remember page…we added a few extra things. Also check out the super cute baby picture in Nick’s profile in in our about us section!

Alors, pour maintenant, on planifie les petits détails….les invitations, les cadeaux, les décorations et tout les autres choses qu’on fait nous même. Aussi, on fait beaucoup de travail dans la maison (on va afficher des photos de la nouvelle maison aussi-tôt que possible). Une fois qu’on a plus d’information sur les plans de voyage, on va vous laisser savoir. Soyez patients Si vous savez que vous n’allez pas venir à Disney…ou si vous allez certainement venir, laissez-nous savoir. Aussi si nous n’avons pas votre adresse, envoyez-nous un courriel et on mettra notre liste à date. On va afficher plus d’annonces bientôt.

On this website you will find a ton of information about the process that we are going through as well as information on travelling to Disney with us for the wedding.

Now let us give you a tour of the website. On the right you will see a whole bunch of pages that you can go to. The first one is “About Us-Our Story”. This one is pretty self-explanatory. Here you can find bios on the both of us so that you can get to know us better as we become a part of each other’s families. The next page is the “Dates to Remember” page. You have these dates on your newsletter as well but here you can find information on important events such as our Stag n’ Doe, the shower, wedding date, Windsor reception, etc… As more important days come to mind we will add them to the page. The third page on the right is “Mailouts”. On this page we will post the newsletters and anything that we would be mailing out to you as the year goes by. The last page is “Contact Information”. Here you will find our email addresses so you can get a hold of us if you need to. This information is also on your newsletter. You will also find we will be posting links to relevant sites for deals and information on travelling to Disney. You can find these links on the right as well. Just hover your cursor over the link name and you will get a description on what the link pertains to. If you have any links you would like to share….please do!!!

If you know you won’t be joining us at Disney we would appreciate it if you would let us know as soon as possible so we can make adjustments where needed.
